Terms of Service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms explain what you can expect from Setbook and what we expect from you. They are written in plain language so they are easy to read.
1. About these terms
Setbook provides an online booking page and a dashboard for service businesses such as barbershops, salons, clinics and studios. These terms apply when you create an account or use Setbook.
By creating an account, you confirm that you can enter into a contract and that the information you give us is accurate.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping your password private, and for making sure the people you invite to your workspace use it appropriately.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Contact us straight away if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
3. Your business and your customers
You decide what services you offer, when you are open and who can book. You are responsible for the accuracy of your booking page, for honouring the appointments customers book with you, and for any prices or policies you publish.
When a customer books with you, you are the owner of that customer's booking information. Setbook stores and displays it so that you and your team can run your calendar. You must have a lawful reason to collect it and must handle it in line with applicable privacy law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Setbook to:
- break the law or infringe someone else's rights
- send spam, or upload malicious code
- attempt to access another workspace, account or data
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it
- publish content that is abusive, misleading or harmful
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep Setbook available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, pause or withdraw features, and we may perform maintenance. Where a change materially affects how you use Setbook, we will give reasonable notice.
You can stop using Setbook at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other customers at risk.
6. Fees
Setbook is free while it is in beta. If we introduce a paid plan, the price and what it includes will be shown on our pricing page before you choose it, and we will not charge you without your agreement.
Third-party costs, such as your own internet access, are your responsibility.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Setbook is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use Setbook after that means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the Philippines, unless the law requires otherwise.
