Privacy Policy

Setbook provides booking pages and a dashboard for service businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Setbook.

For information about a business's customers, that business is the data controller and Setbook processes the information on its behalf.

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password.
• Business details: your business name, booking link, logo, cover image, services, staff, hours and booking preferences.
• Booking details: the appointments, customer names, phone numbers, email addresses and notes that you or your customers add.
• Technical details: the session cookie that keeps you signed in, and standard server logs such as the time of a request and any error it produced.

We use this information to provide the booking page and dashboard, to show appointments to the right people, to keep accounts secure, to fix problems and to respond to support requests.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on Setbook.

Setbook uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in to the dashboard. It is set after you sign in and is removed when you sign out or when it expires. We do not use it for advertising.

Account, business and booking data is stored in our database and file storage, hosted by Supabase in the ap-northeast-1 (Tokyo) region. Access is limited to the people who need it to operate and support the service.

We share information with service providers who host the database and file storage for us, and only to the extent needed to run Setbook. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of Setbook, our customers or the public.

If Setbook is involved in a merger or sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will tell you before that happens.

We keep account and business information while your account is open. Booking records are kept while the workspace is active so that your calendar and customer history stay useful. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise the information within a reasonable period, unless we must keep it for a legal or accounting reason.

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, object to certain processing, or ask us to delete it. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission.

Setbook is a tool for businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the dashboard.
